Bus crash sends several students to hospital

KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Several students are taken to the hospital after a school bus crash in southeastern Kentucky.
It happened around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning on Paynes Branch Road north of Barbourville in Knox County.
A spokesperson with the Knox County School System says the bus slid into an embankment and flipped on its side. We're told there were 27 students on board, but none suffered serious injuries.
Seven students were taken to the hospital as a precaution, but all are expected to be treated and released.
The children on the bus were mostly elementary school students, but some were in middle and high schools.
