Bus driver injured in crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A bus driver is expected to be okay after a crash in downtown Lexington

It happened around 3:30 Tuesday morning at the intersection of Limestone and Vine Street.

Lexington police say the driver of a Honda ran a red light and crashed into the small Lextran bus, used to transport UK students overnight. No one was on the bus at the time.

The driver of the bus was taken to UK Hospital to be checked out.

The driver and a passenger in the Honda were not injured. Police say no charges will be filed.
