Cal not screaming as much

Updated: Mon 10:08 PM, Jan 21, 2013

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - UK Coach John Calipari wasn't screaming like he has been most of the season. As Kentucky finished off Auburn Saturday night Calipari said he didn't have to. "When you're up 16 and 18 and you're finishing people off what do you do? Just scream to scream. They're doing everything you want them to do, so you just coach the game."

Nerlens Noel, who finished with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 7 blocks against the Tigers noticed that Calipari toned it down. "Yeah it's a good feeling to not have him yelling at some players when we're up by that much. I mean that's definitely going to push us to have 20-30 point lead more often."

Calipari said he'd like to just sit there with a rolled up program and watch the whole game. "That would be fun, to do that for like 10 years. A 10 year run of just crossing my legs and watching what happens." It happend Saturday night at Auburn as the Cats pulled away in the 2nd half. "How about this, they're diving for loose balls, they're going for rebounds, they're talking to one another. 'Well Cal, you didn't have to do as much.' Dahhhhh, dahhhhh. Did you watch the game? I don't have to do as much."
