"I'm putting the whistle down and making them continue to play for seven, eight trips up and down, which I normally don't do because I can't stand to see error." said Calipari. "I need to let them know that's not right, and I also need to let them know that is right. But now I just put the whistle down."
Calipari said his players usually say he stops play too much, but not now. "Now they're saying coach, pick up the whistle. Now they're just, it's up and down up and down up and down, it doesn't mean you're playing fast, it means you're not stopping. That's what makes it tough for them the last 12 days, ten days."
Knetucky returns to action Wednesday night against Mississippi State. Tipoff will be at 8:00 p.m. on WKYT.
