LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Surveillence cameras caught thieves breaking into some cars at an apartment complex.
WKYT has obtained the video from the Regency Apartments on Regency Road.
A manager at the complex says the thieves went from car to car checking for unlocked doors and taking anything they could find inside.
One victim says several thousands of dollars worth of items were taken from her car.
"I can't explain the feelings, like I don't feel good at all. I feel sad, I was crying the whole day, I went to school and I couldn't concentrate to myself. I have a final test tomorrow and I wasn't able to finish," said Maria Velasco.
The manager at the apartment complex tells us there may be a reward for information leading to arrests in the case.
