LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A driver says he fell asleep after a late church service and ended up crashing. The crash happened Friday morning near Nicholasville Road and New Circle.
The man says he drifted off into a ditch by the Lexington Green parking lot. The man was able to walk away from the car, but it then caught fire. Firefighters were able to put out the flames.
The driver was not hurt. He told police that he fell asleep after leaving a midnight mass.
