Carhartt sending attacked teen a new jacket

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A good samaritan who was attacked and robbed after he stopped to help a stranded driver is being rewarded.

19-year-old Sean Helton stopped to help a woman he thought was having car trouble when two men pulled up and robbed him.

Helton says one of the men lunged at him with a knife, and his Carhartt jacket was was ripped by the blade, which kept Helton from being seriously hurt.

After seing the story on WKYT, Carhartt contacted Shelton and is now sending him a new jacket.
