LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - It's one of the nation's fiercest rivalries and on Saturday, Kentucky and Louisville meet for the 45th time in series history. Tip-off is set for 4:00.
The Wildcats won both meetings last season, including a matchup in last year's Final Four.
Louisville (11-1) is ranked as high as No. 3 nationally. The Cardinals are led by Russ Smith, who is averaging 19.7 points per game. Peyton Siva averages 11.5 points per game and more than six assists.
Last time out, Kentucky defeated Marshall, 82-54. Sophomore Ryan Harrow scored a career-high 23 points. Nerlens Noel posted his first career double-double, with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The game is being aired by CBS and can be seen on WKYT. Tim Brando, Greg Anthony and Clark Kellogg will call the action.
