Cause of fire still unknown

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Firefighters continue to investigate what caused the fire that displaced four families.

The fire happened Friday morning on Sterlington road in Lexington.
Four apartment units were destroyed in the fire.

Everyone made it out of the building unharmed.

One man, credits his friends cat for saving his life... he says the cat woke him up and they were able to escape the burning building.

The Red Cross is helping the families, who lost practically everything in the fire.
