Posted: Thu 8:01 AM, Nov 08, 2012

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - There will be a man with a beard at this year's Candlelight Tour and holiday festivities in Frankfort, but it may not be who you think.

The Kentucky Historical Society is hosting free events during the tour Thursday through Saturday. From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. EST Thursday, visitors to the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History can meet Abraham Lincoln and a Civil War soldier and ask about life in the 1860s. Other activities include a Lionel train display, discount shopping at the 1792 Store, period dancing and holiday ornament making.

There are also the exhibits "Civil War: My Brother, My Enemy," ''A Kentucky Journey" and "Toyota Kentucky Hall of Governors," all of which will continue through Saturday along with the train display and 1792 Store special sales.
