LOS ANGELES (AP) - A chef who told police he cooked his wife's body for four days in boiling water will appear in a Los Angeles court today for sentencing.
David Viens was convicted in September of killing his 39-year-old wife, Dawn, in late 2009.
Her body has never been found. Authorities say Viens leapt off an 80-foot cliff after learning he was a suspect in her disappearance, but admitted in a hospital bed confession that he had cooked her body to get rid of evidence.
