Child dies after being left in hot van for hours

Updated: Mon 11:49 PM, Jun 18, 2012

An investigation is underway after police found a nine month old baby dead in a hot van.

Louisville police say the baby was strapped in a car seat when they found him around 6 p.m. Monday night.

The van was parked outside the baby's home.

Investigators think he had been inside the van for several hours.

Neighbors say the family had just moved into the home.

The baby's parents have been questioned, but so far, no charges have been made.

Temperatures reached into the upper 80's in Louisville Monday.
