Chilly air may be just a preview of next week

Chill air has invaded the bluegrass state and will hang around through the start of the weekend. Clear skies tonight will allow temps to drop into the frosty 20s for many areas.

Friday's weather looks a lot like what we have out there today with highs in the upper 40s.

The weekend looks dry with temps in the 50s for highs and 30s for lows.

Wintry changes are lurking for next week. That's when a very cold air mass invades the region by Tuesday and Wednesday. Many of the latest computer models are spitting out some snow around here during this time. This is a situation to keep a close eye on as we roll forward.
