Cigarette may have sparked house fire

Posted: Wed 8:20 AM, Jun 27, 2012

Firefighters say dry conditions and a cigarette may have sparked a fire that damaged a Clark County home.

It happened just before midnight on Tuesday on Darby Trace off McClure Road. Crews say the homeowners first spotted the fire in the back of the home.

The damage to the home was minimal and the homeowners were allowed to stay.
