Clerk struck with pistol during robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A clerk is being treated after being struck with a pistol during a violent robbery.

According to Lexington Police two men dressed in all black entered Alexandria Jewelry just before 2pm.

They struck the clerk in the head with a pistol before firing a shot off inside of the business.

They got away with an undisclosed amount of jewelry.

There are no further descriptions of the suspects at this time but we’re told there was surveillance video inside of the business.
