Closing arguments to begin in John Edwards case

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - A jury in Greensboro, N.C., will hearing closing arguments Thursday in the trial of former presidential candidate John Edwards, who's accused of authorizing more than $1 million in secret payments to hide his pregnant mistress during the 2008 campaign.

The court never heard testimony from Edwards, his mistress or his oldest daughter during the trial.
