Cloudy and soggy Sunday for Kentucky

Posted: Sun 9:15 AM, Feb 10, 2013

Rain has moved in with a warm front lifting across the region. Expect off and on showers today with temperatures warming to 57. Winds will be breezy from the south at 15-20 mph. A cold front will quickly follow and bring an end to the rain early Monday morning. Some thunderstorms will be possible ahead of the front. Temperatures will reach into the 40s to start the week. Winds will be gusty Monday afternoon up to 40 mph.

It will continue to cool off during the week with a chance of snow showers on Wednesday. We will settle back into a wintry pattern with highs near freezing and lows in the 20s through the end of the week. Computer models show another chance of snow to start the weekend.
