Cold front blows through the region today!

Updated: Tue 8:11 AM, Feb 19, 2013

Gusty winds continue through the morning hours before calming down a bit during the afternoon. Scattered showers with a mix of snow and sleet moves through, but leaves us with a mostly sunny afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 30s.

A cold overnight in store as we wake up Wednesday morning to the teens and 20s. We won't rise too much as our highs settle in the lower 30s with plenty of sunshine. Sunny skies stick around for most of the day Thursday as another system slides our way. We should start to see it move in during the evening hours. This will give us the chance at a wintry mix with freezing rain involved before switching to all rain overnight and into Friday. We will be keeping our eyes on this one as it moves closer.
