A cold front moved across the Commonwealth Friday and though we needed some rain, it was hard to find. Winds were breezy as the front passed with cloudy skies. Overnight lows will dip to the upper 40s to lower 50s.

Saturday skies will clear in the morning with a beautiful day expected. Highs will reach into the mid 70s with low humidity. Lows will drop into the lower 50s. The UK game looks great but a light jacket or sweater will be needed. The clear skies stay with us until early Sunday. Then clouds will increase as a nearly stationary front moves in from the south. Rain will be possible for the start of the week with a few thunderstorms possible. Hopefully we'll get a good soaking.

A stronger cold front passes on Tuesday and brings an end to the rain. We're looking for lows around 40 by Wednesday morning with highs in the mid 60s. Fall doesn't officially begin until next Saturday!

Have a great weekend!
