Scattered showers and storms continue to push across the region. Local high water issues remain possible through the evening.
No change in the feel outside today as temperatures head back toward the upper 80s to around 90°. The difference today than the past couple of days will be rain. A front is poised to push showers and storms into the region this afternoon and evening. Some of these storms will be strong with lightning and heavy downpours. No widespread severe weather is expected, but an isolated severe cell is not out of the question.
Once the rain moves out during the morning hours on Thursday we are expected a nice afternoon with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Friday will be our driest day in the 7-day forecast as highs creep back in the 80s.
The weekend is not a washout, but rain chances do make an appearance. The driest day appears to be on Saturday with only a small chance of rain. It'll be warm too with temperatures in the upper 80s. Sunday a front pushes some rain into the region and continues to point toward better rain chances than Saturday. This front will usher in another shot of cooler air!
