A cold Thanksgiving Day is wrapping up across central and eastern Kentucky. This was out first Thanksgiving with snow on the ground in Lexington since 1989. Morning temps were the coldest since the 1930s. This is one impressive weather day for Thanksgiving.
Black Friday shoppers will deal with temps back into the mid and upper teens by early in the morning. Skies will be mainly clear with some high clouds rolling in. Afternoon readings will warm to the upper 30s and low 40s.
Saturday looks like a nice weather day with temps in the 40s. A weak system will bring a few showers in here by late Sunday. It may be just cold enough for a light mix for Monday.
