Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
Our weekend is off and running on a gorgeous weather note. Temps on this Friday soared well into the 60s under sunny skies. Saturday looks like another good day with temps a few degrees cooler than today.
We will keep the partly sunny skies and the gusty winds with temps in the 50s. Much colder air moves in for Sunday as a weak system passes by to our south. This may throw some light rain and snow into the southern parts of the state by Sunday morning. Highs will be in the low 40s with some afternoon sun.
Another system moves in for Tuesday and could bring a round of light snow with it. Temps will run the upper 30s and low 40s for highs.
The middle of next week looks very cold, but temps should recover toward 60 by the end of the week.
