Officials at Kentucky State Police said a cashier at Ramey's Qwik Mart in Vicco called in a tip that a man came in and demanded money from the register.
The suspect is described as a 5-and-a-half feet tall man with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and possibly had a mustache.
Police said that they were told that he left in an older model red Pontiac Grand Am.
Police said that they do not know which way he was headed. Anyone with information is asked to call Kentucky State Police post 13 in Hazard at 606-435-6069.
