Scattered showers and storms continue to push across the region. Local high water issues remain possible through the evening.
A cold front is working across the state and is bringing much cooler and drier air to the region. Isolated evening showers and storms will give way to some fog and 50s for overnight lows.
Wednesday marks the first day of school for many kids and the weather looks awesome. Highs will range from the mid to upper 70s under partly sunny skies.
Thursday will start in the 50s and end in the upper 70s to around 80. I can't rule out isolated showers going up in the afternoon.
The weekend weather looks good to start with highs in the low 80s. The threat for showers and thunderstorms will increase by Sunday and that takes us into early next week.
