LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Both Jennifer Abney, 35 and her boyfriend Antonio Clark, 37, of Lexington entered pleas of not guilty in Fayette District Court Friday afternoon.

The couple was arrested Thursday night with knowingly exploiting an adult over $300, a felony charge.

Jennifer Abney was allegedly working for a 92-year-old dementia patient as her caretaker.

She's accused of taking the elderly woman's ATM card and giving it to her boyfriend Antonio Clark.

According to court papers WKYT obtained, Clark admitted to police he used the stolen card multiple times, racking up more than $1500 worth of charges.

Police say he was actually caught on camera using the card.

Both Abney and Clark remain locked up in the Fayette County Jail. A judge denied a request to lower their bonds.

Police say Abney was a paid caregiver and had been advised not to take the ATM card home.

Both will return to court next week for a preliminary hearing.
