Nicholasville, KY. (WKYT) - Nicholasville Police are investigating an overnight burglary that happened on Brome Drive in Nicholasville. Police say it appears that someone entered the home through an overhead garage door that had accidentally been left open overnight. The thief got into the downstairs area of the house while the family slept upstairs.
The burglar took a video game console, 2 iPod Touches, a wallet, and a purse that were in close proximity to the interior garage door. The family did not know this had happened until they got up this morning. Police say the two wallets were recovered by Lexington Police on Henderson Drive in Lexington.
