Victim killed in US 60 crash in Woodford Co. identified

VERSAILLES, Ky (WKYT) - We've learned one of the people inured in a Woodford County crash has died.

The crash happened Thursday afternoon after a couple's car was hit on US 60, at the intersection with Paddock Drive. The couple's car was T-boned by an SUV.

On Friday, the Fayette County Coroner's Office identified the man killed as Steven Hensley, 65, of Versailles. He died of multiple blunt force injuries.

People who live in the area say drivers trying to pull onto US 60 from Paddock Drive constantly face dangerous situations. There is a light at the intersection. There's no information yet on which driver was at fault in Thursday's crash.

Authorities closed US 60 at the Blue Grass Parkway Thursday afternoon while crews worked to help the victims and cleanup the crash. The couple in the car, and the driver of the SUV, were all taken to the hospital. There's no word, yet, on any conditions.
