COVINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Covington landlords are getting a new tool to help them screen prospective tenants.
According to The Kentucky Enquirer (http://bit.ly/181dsHK ), the city is posting an alphabetized list of people who have been evicted from housing in Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties within the last three years.
The site will up within a couple of weeks.
Officials of the Brighton Center, which helps underprivileged Northern Kentucky residents, say they hope landlords will use the list wisely and consider why some people find themselves facing eviction.
In March alone, the center received 91 requests for assistance with rent.
