Crews called to fire near downtown Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - More than a dozen crews were called to a fire near downtown Lexington Sunday night.

It happened around 9:30 Sunday night on East Second Street. Crews tell WKYT the back of the home was badly damaged.

There were several people in the home, but no one was injured.

East Second Street was shut down between Race Street and Elm Street due to the fire.

Fire crews are investigating how it happened.

No foul play is suspected.
