LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - More than a week later, officials are still trying to figure out how a woman was hit and killed by a Lexington fire truck.

Early Monday morning, an accident reconstruction team blocked off the intersection of Main and Broadway in downtown Lexington.

Lauren Road, 27, was hit and killed in that intersection when police say the driver of the fire truck failed to yield to Roady as she crossed the street.

Crews said they were trying to determine line of sight and other factors. An initial report by city police has already been released, but a full report isn't expected until early 2013.

Firefighter Christopher Presley, the driver at the time of the crash, remains on paid administrative leave. Lexington police say charges are not expected against Presley.
