DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - We’re continuing to follow a story out of Boyle County where a grand jury has indicted a driver several months after a deadly hit and run.
It’s been nearly three months since Anne Duncan was killed while walking on Gose Pike and on Friday, the man who police say hit her and then left the scene was indicted by a grand jury.
The Boyle County Clerk’s Office tells us that 22-year-old Tyler Williams of Danville has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident and tampering with evidence in the June 29th death of Anne Duncan.
Duncan is from Michigan but she was in Danville for a friend’s wedding the night she was killed. We tried to reach out to Duncan’s family members for comment but they have not returned our phone calls.
Also on Friday, the Boyle County Clerk’s Office told us that a warrant has been issued for Tyler Williams’ arrest.
We got a chance to talk with Tyler Williams parents and although they did not wish to speak on camera, they told us that Williams is not in jail at this time.
Kentucky State Police is continuing to handle this investigation.
