DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Beverly and Samuel Kindred are facing a number of felony charges including knowingly abusing an adult and Samuel is facing 4 counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.

Danville police say the 67 year old woman who lived in the house on Old Shakertown Rd. was found sitting in a pool of her own urine when officers were called there on a welfare check.

They say the entire home was a mess…..with piles of dirty dishes, dog feces, trash and insect activity.

Police arrested Beverly Kindred….the 67 year old woman’s daughter..and her husband…Samuel Kindred. Police say the woman said she had not received her diabetes or heart failure medicine and a doctor at the local hospital said failure to take the meds put her at a substantial risk of death.

According to court records, the woman told police she wasn’t given a bath since she was discharged from the hospital in late January.

The pair pleaded not guilty to the charges in court…they are supposed to be back in court March 6th for a preliminary hearing.
