Trick or treat hours will find temps dropping through the 30s with gusty winds and some rain and snow filling the air. DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - A Danville thrift shop that was the scene of a triple murder back in September has opened its doors to the public for the first time since the tragedy Monday morning.
On September 20th, Michael and Angela Hockensmith along with Daniel Smith were shot to death inside theABC Gold Games and More. The store has been closed since the tragedy.
Pastor Kenneth Allen Keith has been arrested and charged with their murders.
The owner of ABC Gold Games and More, Steve Divine, told WKYT in a previous interview that he wants everything to be sold so that he can give a large portion of the proceeds to the Hockensmith family fund.
The store opened its doors Monday morning at 9am and will be open until 5pm and will likely be open the rest of the week.
Divine says that once all the inventory is sold, he plans on selling the building.
