Day two of Sweet 16 tournament tips off at Rupp Arena

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Fans are filing into Rupp Arena for the second day of the 97th Whitaker Bank KHSAA Boys' Sweet 16 tournament.

Four games will be played on Thursday. The first one tips off at noon. McCracken County and Wayne County are the first teams to face off. At 1:30 p.m., Knott County Central will take on Bowling Green. The last game of the night will be played at 8:00. Clay County will take on Covington Catholic.

Bardstown will face Pleasure Ridge Park at 6:30 Thursday evening.

Teams are still in the first round of play. On Wednesday, Scott County won their match-up against Fleming County. They, along with the other winners of the first round, will go onto the quarterfinals, which begin on Friday.

If you're planning to drive anywhere around Rupp Arena over the next couple of day, expect traffic through the rest of the week and over the weekend.
