A line of strong to severe storms will race across central and eastern Kentucky over the next several hours.
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington police say a man jumped to his death on the outer loop of New Circle Road off of Winchester Road, closing the road for several hours Friday morning.
The Fayette County coroner says about 6:30 a.m. a driver on the outer loop of New Circle Road saw a young Hispanic man jump.
We're told he hit the ground before he was hit by the vehicle.
For the next two hours, police closed the stretch of road under the Winchester Road overpass, trying to identify the young man.
On Friday afternoon, the Fayette County Coroner's Office identified the person as a 27-year-old man from Lexington. The coroner says the man died of massive head trauma, along with multiple blunt force trauma.
