Defense: Gray murder trial could go to jury tomorrow

Posted: Wed 1:19 PM, Feb 27, 2013

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WKYT) - Yesterday's testimony ended with jurors hearing from James Anthony Gray.

As with the last murder trial that ended with a hung jury, Gray maintained that he was bullied into confessing to the murders of his parents in 2007.

After hearing from an expert in digital forensics regarding James and Vivian Gray's will, and friends of the gray family, an expert who specializes in forced or influenced false confessions took the stand.

Richard Ofshe took the stand for the defense to explain the tactics used by investigators during interrogations that can sometimes influence suspects to give false confessions.

Anthony Gray's attorney's anticipate the case will be sent to the jury as early as tomorrow morning.
