An appliance maker is renewing a recall for more than two million dehumidifiers. The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the update Friday.
The dehumidifiers are made by Gree Electric Appliances of China. They were sold under several brand names, including GE, Kenmore and Frigidaire.
The appliances were initially recalled in September because they can overheat and catch fire. If you have one, the CPSC is asking you to turn it off and unplug it immediately. Owners should contact Gree for a refund.
