The documentary "Sole Survivor," which chronicles the crash of flight 5191, has just been nominated for "Project of the Week" on Indiewire, one of the leading websites for independent filmmakers and fans.
WKYT gave you an exclusive first look at the film that includes interviews with 5191 families and sole survivor Jim Polehinke in May.
As the film gears up for the festival circuit, winning this accolade will not only allow more people learn about the film, but put it in contention to win a consultation with the Tribeca Film Institute.
