Dreaming of a white day after Christmas?

Updated: Tue 7:53 AM, Dec 25, 2012

First off, MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Looks like a great weather day for Christmas with cloudy skies and highs in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Most of the day will be dry, but we will start to see some rain during the evening and overnight hours. Chief Meteorologist Chris Bailey said it best with, "I'm dreaming of a white day after Christmas". It's looking more and more like everyone will get a shot at it with some more than others. The weather models are trending farther eastward, which means more people will have a better chance at seeing snow during Wednesday with highs in the 30s. The best chance of seeing good snow will be north and west of I-64/I-75 corridors. Some locations in those zones, near the state lines, will more than likely see a good 2-4" of snow as of right now. Most of us that do see snow will be in the coating-2" range. All of this moves out on Thursday morning and leaving us with a dry and chilly couple of days.

Have a Merry Christmas!!!!
Meteorologist Micah Harris
