LIBERTY, Ky. (WKYT) A serious crash sends two people to the hospital and lands a driver in jail.
It happened Saturday in Casey County.
Kentucky State Police say 49-year-old Joseph Wooley was driving on U.S. 127 just south of Liberty when he turned into the path of a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, 33-year-old Darin Powell, was thrown from his bike. He and a passenger in Wooley's car, 50-year-old Michael Wells were both flown to UK Hospital in Lexington for their injuries. There condition is not known at this time. KSP arrested Wooley at the scene. He's charged with DUI and operating on a suspended license.
