SHELBYVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - Almost a year after a deadly crash, Kentucky State Police have charged the driver with murder.
State police say Lonnie Monroe was under the influence of drugs when he crashed his semi last October in Shelby County.
Investigators say he lost control of the truck on Kentucky 148 just before it went off the road and overturned.
His passenger, James Jacobs of Shelbyville, was killed in the crash.
Monroe now faces a list of charges, including DUI and murder.
