LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A driver had to be rushed to the hospital after a violent crash.
It happened early Monday morning on Russell Cave Road, about a mile outside of Iron Works Pike.
Police say the driver crossed the center line, over-corrected, rolled and went off the road.
The vehicle took out part of a wooden fence, and a plank could be seen sticking through the front windshield.
The driver was taken to UK Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Lexington police say speed and alcohol were likely factors in the crash.
