Driver killed on icy Letcher County roads

WHITESBURG, Ky. (WKYT) - Kentucky State Police say slick roads caused a deadly crash in eastern Kentucky.

It happened just before 8:00 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 119 in Letcher County.

Officials say Felecia Ramsey lost control of the icy road and hit another car. Ramsey was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the second car, Martha Ratliff, was taken to a local hospital for her injuries.

State police continue to investigate the crash.
