Driver leads police on chase in stolen car

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are looking for the man who led them on a chase in a stolen car.

Officials say they began following a car believed to be stolen around midnight Thursday morning. When they tried to pull the driver over, police say he sped off.

Police tell WKYT they backed off their pursuit, and later found the stolen four-door silver Lexus crashed into a parked car at Goodloe and Warnock Streets in the city's East End.

The driver took off on foot. Police say they brought in K-9 units and last saw the driver near Second and Race Streets.

Police have not yet made an arrest and say they do not have a good description of the driver.
