Driver thrown from van in Lexington crash

Video will be available shortly

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Two people are recovering from a crash after Lexington Police say a driver ran a red light.

The crash happened around midnight Tuesday on Versailles Road at Village Drive.

Lexington Police say the driver of a black SUV ran the light, and broadsided a van. The driver of the van was thrown out of the vehicle and onto the ground. That driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No one else was injured.

Police do not think alcohol or drugs were a factor. No one faces charges at this time.
