ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A family is without a home after an early morning fire in Anderson County.

The Anderson County Fire Department responded to a residential fire shortly after 5am Sunday morning.

Anderson County Fire Chief Mike Barnes says that when they arrived on the scene the house was fully involved. The three adults and child that were living inside of the home all made it out safely after being alerted by smoke detectors.

Barnes says that one man was treated for smoke inhalation but that everyone else was able to escape without injuries.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation but officials say they do not believe it was suspicious.
