Very slow moving showers and thunderstorms will move into our area overnight and Sunday. The potential for flooding will be heightened in southern and eastern Kentucky.
It has been a wonderful weekend across Kentucky. The best is yet to come on Sunday. That's an important forecast! It's Easter and many folks will take to the outdoors.
There will likely be a few thin clouds streaming in on Sunday evening. That's the only weather disruption many will encounter. Otherwise, it is a mainly sunny day for everyone. If you have any egg hunts planned for Easter, it all looks perfect for you!
As the new work week rolls in the pattern will shift just a little bit. A frontal boundary will start drifting closer to the area on Monday. You will really begin noticing more clouds on Monday evening. That's from the system cruising in from our west.
The showers and storms will finally arrive on Tuesday. While this system doesn't look extremely impressive, it still has widespread showers and storms associated with it. What will be the more significant element... temperatures! They will take a bit of a hit. Dropping 5-10 for daytime highs.
Have a wonderful Easter!
