Much warmer air continues to settle into central and eastern Kentucky. This is great news for all those folks tired of the cool and damp weather of the past week.
Election Day temps look to warm into the low 80s with mostly sunny skies. Low and mid 80s will be possible by Wednesday as afternoon thunderstorms begin to develop.
Those storms are ahead of a cold front that drops in for Thursday with another round of storms possible. Temps will drop into the 70s for highs Friday into Saturday with a mostly sunny sky.
Memorial Day weekend looks mainly dry with temps returning toward 80 by Sunday and Monday. I can't rule out a few storms toward the end of the weekend.
