Employee kidnapped during bank robbery

COLUMBIA, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are looking for a man, they say, robbed a bank and kidnapped an employee at gunpoint.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. Monday at a United Citizens Bank in Columbia.

Police tell WKYT that a man came in and demanded money. He then took a bank employee and that employee's car at gunpoint.

A short time later, he ordered that employee out of the car.

Police later found the car, but not the suspect.

We're told the employee was not injured.
