Employee shot during attempted robbery

HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - An employee faces gunshot wounds and a man is on the loose after an attempted robbery this morning.

Police say it happened at Carolyn's Corner Store in the Big Springs area of Hardin County.

They say the suspect was trying to rob the store when the employee was shot in the arm.

The suspect was last seen wearing dark clothing and a white hoodie, and is believed to have left in a '98 model Buick Lesabre.

The employee was last listed in stable condition at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
